New Blog!dear friends,
as all of you can see, there are changes to my new blog.
first of all, this new one has colours.
secondly, it has pictures.
thirdly, to match the theme for this blog, the title has been changed.
nonetheless, i hope all of you will find it refreshing.
of course, the mastermind and the contributor to this new change (top to bottom, left to right) is none other than my smart and clever sister.

New Discovery
today my sis brought me to a new eating place she has discovered.
it a new japanese eatery in 'The Cathay' basement 1.
it's almost like Shokudo in 'Raffles City' but in a smaller scale.
the food is rather fine, customer service is oooookkkkkkkk ... but can be faster.
but the most definite worth mentioning is the sushi plates are $0.99 each beside the normal dishes offered in most Jap restaurants.
this restaurant encourage ice-cream sticks as the way of ordering food.
just bring a cup with your table number and do your pick of food.
it's quite a number of variety to choose from and if it's not available, customers can order from the chefs.
after when you are done with your choice, just place the cup at the ordering counter and proceed to your table to wait for your food to arrive.
below are a few dishes we ate today excluding the sushi.

Recovering...I went to the Doctor 2 days ago... finally!
To think I actually endured the pain on my shoulder (with the help of salonpas) and the swell of my eye for a couple of weeks.
Even the Doctor gave a 'WOW'! - I can read his expression and the 'O' from the shape of his mouth.
He said I strained my neck and shoulder muscles, the body tissues so on and so fore.
Had to eat medicine and apply cream on injuried area... boh bian (shrugged his shoulder).
He twisted my arm in various angles and directions to check if my joint is injuried.
Fortunately not!
I then asked him about my eye.
He took a look and said it's a sensitive area so he can't operate to remove the swelling.
Had to take medicine and apply the cream... boh bian (shrugged his shoulder).
I almost wanted to roll eyes and I can't believe I'm hearing 'boh bian' coming out from a professional doctor.
And I came out of the room in less than 5 minutes.
Boh bian! Boh bian!
But the medication he gave does works.
Now I'm feeling better, slowly recovering though I still experience a bit of pain and soreness.
My mum has been constantly reminding me: 'Don't carry heavy things. Ask someone to help you. Don't do everything yourself.' when she sees me off to work at the corridor window every morning as I waved goodbye to her.
And my sis rolled her eyes everytime she heard me 'aaahhh' to the pain.
Oh well!
At least I'm in the process of recovering ...

PainJust as the swell of my right eye has gradually went away...
Just as the right side of my shoulder and back pain slowly recover...
I hurt my right shoulder muscle again.
I kinda' felt the pull of it last night as I reached to take a heavy carton full with big hardcover books.
The pain just shoots up to my neck.
Sigh!
The rest of the night is just pain... pain... pain...
I went to Watsons to purchase a box of Salonpas during dinner time and got one of my staff to paste it on the aching spot for me.
I can't turn ... I can't lift up my right hand...
Wanting to change to remove my shirt is the worse.
I have to 'aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh' all the way.
To end the night, I popped a painkiller pill and pasted a plaster before I lie down straight on my mattress.
This morning I woke up to the pain... opened my eyes and realised that I was lying on the same position as I closed my eyes last night!!!
I can't move much especially if it involves the strength and movement of my right side.
This is the worse time of the year (as yet) for me.
Pain pain go away, don't come to me another day!
