5 Years Already...

well, well, well, time really flies.
it's been 5 years since i stepped back to my current company.
i worked about a year before back in 1998.
today, i received my 5 years long service award.
i have totally forgotten about it until it was announced over at the staff day celebration.
besides getting 'no mc award' for the consecutive year running, i got a voucher from the lucky draw.
oh well!
not bad afterall...
it was a warm and nice feeling.
i think this is the 3rd time i felt this way.
the 1st was my promotion from staff to supervisor.
the 2nd was my promotion from supervisor to manager.
i reckoned these are my biggest accomplishments in these few years.
my hard work, time, energy, effort have been paid off through these recognitions.
i have never expected myself to work in a company for such a long time.
i'm not sure of what i want to do at the next stage of my life.
i always believe there are things in life awaiting for people to move on to.
and in time to come, those things will surface.
i may have to search for it, work for it, wait for it but no matter what, i know i will make full and good use of it when the time comes.
hhmm... i have to thank those that have influenced and made me where i am today.
thinking back, there are good and bad people but it's through them and what they have done to affect my life decisions gave me what i have now.
lastly, here's to all.
